A year ago, Edge Institute launched, together with the Center for Independent Journalism, the “DigiTup” fellowship program for media projects dedicated to digital transformation. In this context, Vlad and Diana, Dela0 journalists, carried out a mapping of digitalization in small towns and municipalities in Romania. The article below presents a brief review of a complex journalistic effort.
The Dela0 team will return with a larger version of this mapping effort in the fall of this year, when it will evaluate the digital services offered by all administrative-territorial units with over 5,000 inhabitants. We will be their partners in their effort this year as well, which is why we invited them to write the newsletter edition below.
